Your Mission:
• Inspire a talented team of engineers to develop cutting-edge solutions that exceed customer expectations
• Cultivate an environment of ownership, delivery focus, and high performance
• Provide strategic technical oversight across projects, defining objectives and deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to allocate resources effectively and meet timelines
• Prioritize customer support issues in line with business needs
• Partner with the CTO, Advanced Technology, and Product teams to execute the product roadmap
• Set growth-oriented objectives that unlock your team's full potential
• Ensure team skills map to technological and business priorities for quality products
• Develop proactive plans to acquire or train critical skills for short and long-term goals
• Champion continuous improvement by implementing measurable processes and KPIs
• Liaise with manufacturing on enhancing yields and capacities
• Communicate risks and opportunities clearly to stakeholders
What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's in Engineering or relevant experience
• Proven expertise in hardware development from concept to medium volume manufacturing
• Architectural vision for complex hardware systems and solutions
• Demonstrated ability to make pragmatic decisions and solve complex problems
• Exceptional people leadership driving goal-setting, performance, and motivation
• Collaboration strengths uniting technical/non-technical teams in a cooperative environment
• Broad technical depth across hardware technologies, processes, and platforms
• Track record of technical and process innovation accelerating time-to-market
• Skilled communication adapting message for varied audiences and formats
• Strategic mindset developing executable hardware and team development plans
