Job Description

I'm currently recruiting a Business Development Manager for the DACH region for my client who is a global leader in mobile connected devices and systems in critical communications, selling to large enterprise customers including transportation, utilities and public safety markets, so you look like are an excellent match for the position.

 

You will report to the Sales Director for the region and be responsible for identifying prospective customers and working with them to co-create business plans. You should also be able to prioritise opportunities, work on your own initiative, as well as being able to build long term relations with existing customers, potential customers and channel partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with existing customer (key accounts) to achieve the maximum results of sales
  • Build a business development plan targeting new customers
  • Achieve annual sales target and build funnel and pipeline of new opportunities for the future
  • Maintain and develop industry knowledge through communications and research.
  • Understand your customer's strategic direction, profit and loss (P&L) and other financial measurements to ensure that solutions expand beyond their existing communication needs
  • Ensure that all parties have the technical, legal and project information they need or want.
  • Attend trade shows, events and conferences in the DACH region.
  • Train internal and external parties as required to ensure efficient operations.

 

You’ll have a track record of sales success in communications systems sales with sales cycles of typically 12-24 months.

 

This is a work from home position and location is flexible in Germany. You’ll spend approximately one third of your time traveling around the region visiting new and existing customers and channel partners.

 

There is a  local office technical sales and operations support in the region.
