Job Description

Job purpose

Coordination of wireless telecommunication system installations for the REM Montreal Project.

Installation RBQ Licenses guarantor

Main duties

  • Coordination of wireless telecommunication system installations for the REM Montreal Project
  • Coordination of the activities of the subcontractors on the basis of the project planning and especially with the civil works activities.
  • Carrying out tests and inspections of installation work
  • Maintaining As-Built Documentation
  • Coordinate EHS activities
  • The candidate shall act as the guarantor for the company's Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries for the RBQ 1.7 Telecommunications, Transport, Transformation
  • Availability to work overnight when required

Qualifications

Telecommunications Engineer:

One of the following qualifications:

  1. RBQ approved examination for:
    • Administration.
    • Safety Management on Construction Sites (SMC-1.7)
    • Project and Worksite Management (PWM-1.7)
  2. Successfully completed training program recognized by the RBQ to obtain RBQ 1.7 Telecommunications, Transport, Transformation License

Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec)

Experience

2-3 years of experience in similar position

 

Knowledge

Ms Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point)

Autocad

English & French
