Job Description

I’m currently searching for a Senior Account Manager for my client who are quoted on the NASDAQ and leaders in network security and network detection & response solutions to develop the AT&T account. You can be based anywhere in the USA, as this is a work from home position with regular travel to their offices in Seattle, New Jersey, Dallas or Atlanta.

There is a business development part to the role, so you should be used to leveraging connections in CSP's to sell in new technology and have an open and personable style who is comfortable with building strong business relationships in and out of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets, selling directly. 
  • Understand the customer’s business and how our products impact their business
  • Develops strong relationships and coaches in the accounts
  • Develops a pipeline of 4X quota and is constantly prospecting in new or existing accounts
  • Consistently calls at multiple levels high and wide
  • Works collaboratively with Sales Engineers to ensure ongoing account technical support.
  • Follows company strategy and direction

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related degree

Experience Requirements:

  • 10 years of tier 1 telecoms software sales experience – Network Security preferred
  • 5 + years sales experience selling network security solutions to AT&T and have good relationships with the security team up to CISO level.
  • Selling Network Security Software to tier 1 telco operators
  • Understands complex sales cycle with multiple constituents, POC process etc.
  • A quantifiable track record of sales success with AT&T
  • An overall understanding of our technology, market, and client profile
  • Track record of exceptional funnel build and quota achievement
  • Drive to succeed, established customers and contacts, and territory knowledge
  • You will know your way around the AT&T organization, understand key touch points and be able to make things happen
  • Hunter with the ability to source, pursue and close new business
