Job Description

I'm searching for a Sales Engineer who will be involved in the support of existing and future customers for my client in the Middle East, with a focus on the Saudi Arabian market. Other important markets include Jordan, Oman, UAE & Qatar.

You will need to have a strong technical background in digital radio communications like TETRA, P25 and DMR solutions.

The Role

  • Responsible for providing pre and post sales technical support to end users and channel partners in the Middle East.
  • Provide technical support to business development managers for quotations, tenders, customer and partner presentations.
  • Be the first point of contact for technical liaison between customers and partners 
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to technical and non technical users,
  • Provide training and consultancy to our regional partners and end users on radio equipment and software to enable them to promote our portfolio to new customers and to allow them to support our existing customer base.
  • Understand customer requirements and influence customer specifications towards the appropriate product line
  • Interact with and support client project/evaluation teams
  • Highlight potential sales opportunities from customer interactions to the Regional Business Development Managers.
  • Based on your skills, experience and customer interactions, identify new broadband products and sales opportunities. 

This role will have significant travel to partners and end users in the Middle East to conduct partner reviews, sales strategies and solving technical issues. You must be prepared to travel around the Middle East region to visit and support customers (sometimes at short notice).

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2-5 years working with TETRA, DMR, P25 or other wireless technologies.
  • A Telecommunications or Electronics degree
  • Sales engineering experience working with MoI and oil & gas companies in the region directly and/or through a partner.
  • Must be fluent in Arabic and English
  • Ability to work independently, remotely and to be self motivated to ensure continued self development and interaction with customers.
