Sales Engineer, Networking and Security. Germany

Job Description

I’m currently looking for a sales engineer to help manage and develop large enterprise accounts in Germany.

My client is a global leader in security and network solutions, has sales of $1.5bn and quoted on the NASDAQ. I’m looking for someone with around 5 years technical solution sales experience who has a good understanding of security and IP networks.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the technical sale of security and network solutions
-Manage the RFx processes
-Responsible for providing support to the sales team in winning business
-Provide technical support in sales presentations
-Manage Field Trials/Proof of Concepts/Evaluations
-Provide informal product training to clients and team
-Identify business/technical problems and offer attractive solutions to the client

Key Requirements:

- Proven technical sales experience with security solutions like DDoS with large enterprise accounts

-Able to translate technical elements into commercial propositions and help the sales team persuade customers with your technical knowledge.
-Ability to communicate complex data/information and provide timely, cost effective, quality solutions to customers
-Ideally a degree in Computer Science or similar
-Fluent in German and business proficient or fluent in English


My client is well established in the German market, with offices in the Frankfurt area, although the position is a work from home role, so location is completely flexible in Germany.
