I'm currently recruiting a Sales Engineer with a focus on providing pre-sales support to the large enterprise sales team on network monitoring, application performance management and security solutions in the San Jose/West Coast area.
My client is a well-established publicly quoted US vendor who is expanding their sales engineering team in the US and is a market leader in DDoS security & network visibility solutions.
-Sales engineering in areas such as network security, packet analysis /sniffer, packet-switched networks, routing, switching, TCP/IP & BGP.
-Manage the RFx processes e2e
-Responsible for providing support to the sales team in winning business
-Provide technical sales presentations
-Manage Field Trials/Proof of Concepts/Evaluations/Bake-Offs
-Provide informal product training to clients and team
-Identify business/technical problems and offer attractive solutions to clients
- Proven technical/ pre-sales experience with IP networks, network monitoring and security solutions
-Able to translate technical elements into commercial propositions and help the sales team persuade customers with your technical knowledge.
-Ability to communicate complex data/information and provide timely, cost effective, quality solutions to customers
- Used to working with large, complex customers taking a consultative approach
The position is a work from home role, so it would suit someone who is ideally based in the northern California area.
Salary and benefits are excellent, and uncapped.
