I’m currently searching for a Sales Engineer to help sell network security, NDR and network monitoring solutions to large enterprise customers in the DACH Region.
My client is a well-established publicly quoted US vendor who is expanding their sales engineering team in Germany and is a market leader in DDoS security & network visibility solutions. They have over 100 employees in Germany and 3 offices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Proven technical experience and knowledge in network security and networking, especially DDoS and MPLS & BGP.
-Manage the RFx processes
-Responsible for providing support to the sales team in winning business
-Provide technical sales presentations
-Manage Field Trials/Proof of Concepts/Evaluations/Bake-Offs
-Provide product training to clients and team
-Identify business/technical problems and offer attractive solutions to clients
Key Requirements:
- Proven technical sales experience in security and/or service assurance, ie network performance and monitoring solutions.
- Able to translate technical elements into commercial propositions and help the sales team persuade customers with your technical knowledge of network security, IP networks and ideally NDR
- Ability to communicate complex data/information and provide timely, cost effective, quality solutions to customers
- You must understand what is needed at every stage of the sales cycle managing large enterprise customers
- Used to working with large, complex customers taking a consultative approach
- Degree educated, ideally in Computer Science or similar
- At least business proficient in English with mother tongue being German
The position is a work from home role and would ideally suit someone based in Germany. Expect to travel around 30-40% of your time in the region.
From time to time, you may be needed to help out other sales teams in Europe, but 90% + of your time will be with customers in the DACH region.
Salary and benefits are excellent, and uncapped.
