Job Description

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an IT or Telecommunications professional with a strong background in Mobile Applications (Android OS), 4G/5G networks, or Enterprise IT systems to join the Pre-Sales Engineering team. This role is critical in helping clients identify their needs and aligning our devices, accessories, and applications with their business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**
The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team, engaging with a diverse set of global customers and partners. Your core responsibilities include:

- **Customer Engagement:** Work closely with clients, mobile operators, government bodies, and developers to technically qualify products for key global projects. Be an advocate for customer needs, contributing insights to Sales, Business Development, and Product Management.
  
- **Solution Development:** Support customers from initial engagement to solution proposals, product demonstrations, and tender management, delivering a superior customer experience and addressing critical communication challenges 

- **Daily Activities:**
  - Communicate product vision and value to the Sales team and partners.
  - Identify technical opportunities based on customer interactions.
  - Capture and understand customer requirements, propose solutions, and construct business cases with Product Management.
  - Respond to tenders professionally, perform SWOT analysis on competitor products, and help shape technical requirements in pre-tender stages.
  - Prepare and present solution-based demonstrations and execute proofs of concept (POCs) for customers.
  - Assess competitor offerings to help Sales refine product positioning.
  - Support Product Management and Marketing with messaging that differentiates products in the market.
  - Participate in new product launches and be a representative at industry events.
  - Travel globally to customer sites.

This role involves UK and international travel; a valid passport and driver’s license are required. Security Clearance (SC) vetting may also be necessary.

**Skills and Experience:**

  - Proven pre-sales engineering experience alongside a sales team.
  - Background in Android, Cloud/SaaS, 4G/5G networks, AWS, or Enterprise Mobility Management.
  - Experience engaging with Tier 1 carriers and private network operators.
  - Strong presentation skills and ability to engage audiences of varying sizes.
  - Ability to work independently, strong problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  - Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a customer-first approach.

 Fluency in English as well as at least one other language is required (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic preferred).

 A relevant technical degree or HND or demonstrable on the job training in critical communications.
