I am currently searching for a General Manager & Sales Director, responsible for a very large region, including APAC, Russia, CIS, Africa and Gulf regions. You will have 4 Regional Sales Director’s reporting to you, who will have their own local sales managers selling to service providers, enterprise and government verticals.
I am looking for someone with a proven track record of success as a leader, who has the ability to develop the vision and the sales strategy and lead the team forward. As a senior sales leader, you should be at sales director level with international experience.
You will need to have good leadership skills to motivate and manage your team effectively and develop the strategy to deliver sales success for each of the regions, covering both SP and enterprise sectors.
Your sales target is the total of all the regions, so you don’t carry a personal target. However, you will be expected to show drive and meet with key customers, lead from the front and prove your vision and strategy delivers tangible results.
The location for the position is flexible, providing you have good access to a major airport hub, so you can travel easily, as you can expect to travel 50% or more of your time.
I am ideally looking for someone who has a good understanding of networking in IP, LTE and carrier Ethernet and is able to offer clear direction, leadership and clarity of thought.
