Job Description

I’m searching for a Business Development Manager to join a world class company in critical communications.

This is an exciting time to join with mobile broadband technologies accelerating business opportunities, so I’m looking for a high-impact sales leader who will be responsible for developing sales through channel partners, recruiting new ones where necessary to reach end customers in government, transportation, energy, mining and manufacturing.

 

The Role

You’ll manage and grow sales in the region through channel partners, managing new and existing end customers. Using your experience in mobile telecoms or wireless communications, you’ll leverage your network to expand the customer base, particularly among government customers, systems integrators, and channel partners.

You’ll have a strong record of exceeding sales targets through partner-led business in both enterprise and government sectors. A strategic thinker, you’ll position our solutions across different verticals and communicate the value of our products and services to customers and partners.

Working closely with Business Development, Marketing, Product Strategy, and Sales Engineering, you’ll help shape the go-to-market strategy and address key customers across the region.

You’ll promote world-leading mobile device solutions both radio and mobile telecoms technologies to diverse industries. Supported by your team, you’ll:
• Deliver against sales targets for the Nordics & Baltics.
• Engage partners and end users through solution selling.
• Respond to tenders and information requests.
• Manage channel conflicts and protect margins.
• Develop business cases for new features and services.
• Build relationships in new verticals to grow market share.
• Plan trade shows and represent the company at industry events.
• Travel regionally (approx. 50%) and occasionally worldwide.

 

What You Need

• Proven success meeting sales targets in LMR, wireless, or mobile telecoms.
• Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Government and other critical sectors (transport, utilities, mining etc.).
• Confident presenter able to communicate strategy to senior management and at public events.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (additional regional languages preferred).
• Willingness to travel internationally.

My client is flexible on location, being based either in Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland, ideally close to a major airport for easy travel.
